Johnny Caudle – Owner & Voice of Local Storm Center
Trusted voice for custom radio weather forecasts
Johnny Caudle began his broadcasting journey in 1994, hosting a morning radio show before heading to high school homeroom. Today, he’s the professional voice behind thousands of daily weather reports—bringing over 30 years of experience in radio programming, weathercasting, news, and 911 emergency communications.
His passion for weather began in 1989 when Hurricane Hugo impacted his hometown in North Carolina. While not a certified meteorologist, Johnny is known for his calm, conversational delivery and distinctive Southern voice—trusted by radio listeners and stations across the country.
In addition to his broadcast background, Johnny has more than 25 years of 911 dispatch experience, where clarity, timing, and reliability are essential. That same commitment to communication excellence guides every sponsor-ready, custom forecast he produces for AM, FM, and LPFM radio stations.
When he’s not recording forecasts, Johnny enjoys building relationships with clients, spending time with his family, and engaging with more than 8,000 followers who track his daily weather updates across social media.
