  • We deliver daily MP3 files through secure cloud-based access, tailored to fit your station’s workflow. Each file is clearly labeled and formatted for easy scheduling.

  • Sponsored forecasts include custom mentions of your business or underwriter in the open and/or close. You provide the wording—we voice it to match your format and flow.

  • Yes. Our Daypart Delivery Series+ upgrade allows you to receive custom-branded versions of the same forecast for different stations in your group—perfect for simulcasts or clusters.

  • No. Local Storm Center does not operate on a barter model. All services are billed monthly and must be paid in cash by the 25th of each month. We do not trade services in exchange for airtime, promotional mentions, or sponsorships.

  • Yes. All forecast packages include delivery 365 days a year—no holidays, no blackout dates. We know radio doesn’t stop, and neither do we.

  • All services are billed month-to-month. You can change or cancel your forecast package anytime—just send written notice via email or text. No penalties, no contracts.

  • Absolutely. You’re welcome to send your preferred intro music, tagline, or sponsor script. We’ll voice your weather to fit your station’s sound.

  • While not a certified meteorologist, Johnny Caudle brings decades of broadcast, 911, and weather communication experience—and forecasts are built from official NWS data.

  • Yes—just request a demo and we’ll send you a sponsor-ready sample matched to your format, delivery preference, and station name.

  • To begin service with Local Storm Center, simply complete the Start Service form on our website. Within 3 to 5 business days, you’ll receive a custom demo and service proposal tailored to your station’s needs. Once you review the proposal, we’ll work with you to finalize key details such as forecast timing, scripting preferences, station branding, file naming conventions, and delivery setup.

    After everything is confirmed, you’ll receive a Monthly Service Agreement via email. Once accepted, daily MP3 forecast delivery begins according to your customized schedule. Most AM, FM, and LPFM radio stations are fully onboarded and on the air within 2 to 4 weeks. Prompt communication helps ensure a smooth and efficient launch.
